I first met Megan five years ago when she came to look at the apartment I was living in in New York. I don't remember a whole lot about that day other than the fact that she had me laughing so hard my sides hurt. She is one of those people that is like a burst of sunshine and luckily for those around her, her energy is contagious. Even on early morning runs in the rain along the Hudson. I guess she made a similarly good impression when she first met Peter. He was interviewing her for a job, hired her, even tried to keep up with her on a few runs and not too long after the two left New York for Portland, OR. This past winter on a trip to Berlin, Peter proposed and Megan said yes!! I'll be photographing a wedding on the east coast the weekend of their nuptials so I made a trip out to Portland last week to visit and do some engagement portraits. Below are a few or my favorites of the happy couple and their awesome pooch, Lola. Enjoy!

The first time I met Amy and John was nearly two years ago when we did maternity portraits at their home in New Jersey and a couple weeks later I met JP when he was just 10 days old. He's a little harder to keep up with now, but tons of fun. I've never taken so many photos while running backwards, but I was rewarded with a flower, a shell and one flying stone that lucky went wide :-)

With one more month to go, I wanted to share some photos of my dear friend and beautiful mother-to-be. I can not wait to meet this little wonder!
