The thing I remember most from Cynthia & James' wedding is all the smiles. It was such a joyous day and a tremendous pleasure to document. Thank you both for including me in the festivities! A little look at what's to come...

The results of the Wedding Photojournalist Association's final contest of 2009 came out yesterday and I was deligted to see that one of my favorite images from last year won an award. This was a nice little welcome back to the mainland after an incredible month on Maui, half of which was spent living off the grid in a house surrounded by mango, orange and avocado trees. While I am still dreaming of surf, sun and sand, I am super excited for all that's ahead!
